David and Veronica were so much fun during their session! They claimed they “weren’t photogenic,” but just look at them! It doesn’t get much cuter than this! Veronica decided to make the session personal by bringing a picnic basket and some yummy treats with her, including some “Hey Cupcakes.” They were so sweet and at the end of the session, let me indulge in my first ever Hey Cupcake, and let me just say, it lived up to it’s hype ! They are getting married this fall at Camp Lucy and I absolutely can’t wait to join them. Enjoy a few of my favs!

How lucky am I to have the most amazing brides and grooms? And how lucky am I to head back out to one of my favorite venues, Vista West Ranch, for their awesome wedding? This is the second wedding in the span of one month that I’ve had the privilege to shoot at Vista West Ranch and it was neat to see the different details that made each so special. Goodbye New Braunfels, Hello Houston!

A lot has been going on over here at Nicole Chatham Photography! As you can probably gather from the title of this post, we are moving! After spending 10 years in the beautiful hill country, we have decided to move back to our home town, Houston. While it is hard to say goodbye to all the wonderful friends, brides, and wedding vendors I have met along the way, I am excited to move back home to our families and friends here in Houston. If you are a current bride, no worries, everything will run as though I am still here. I am not moving that far away so I still will be in the area shooting weddings and portraits for now. Change is hard, but I am embracing it and looking forward to all of the new adventures ahead.

And because no post is the same without pictures, here are some of my sweet little girl in those beautiful hill country bluebonnets! Have a great week everyone! I have been a little slow getting the blog posts up due to the move, but I have loads to share so stay tuned!

Oh, what a wonderful wedding weekend! I had such a lovely time at Lance and Kristen’s wedding and I am so excited to finally be able to show off her bridal session! Kristen was such a gorgeous bride and wanted to take her bridals at the same place where she was getting married (and one of my favorite venues), Vista West Ranch. She brought these vintage suitcases to the session and I LOVED them! League City Engagement Photographer | Cory and Sarah

Those that I’m friends with on our Facebook business page (have you “liked” us yet??) have already seen a sneak peak from Cory and Sarah’s engagement session, and I’ve been peer pressured to hurry up and show off the rest (because one just wasn’t enough) ever since . And how could I not want to show off this gorgeous couple? Cory and Sarah love to be on the water and they are getting married in the hill country, so it was important to them to have a little bit of both in their engagement photos. Sarah did such a great job scouting out the locations! Sarah and I have been best friends since high school so I can’t wait to join them this summer at Camp Lucy as a bridesmaid and photographer….yes, I will be playing dual roles on the big day! But I wouldn’t have it any other way . Cory and Sarah- I love you guys and can’t wait to see what your future holds. XOXO!
