Matt & Jennifer’s Wedding!

Matt and Jennifer had a beautiful garden wedding at the tropical Hummingbird House a couple of weeks ago.  At almost 100 degrees, it was a warm day.  But I don’t think Matt and Jennifer complained about the heat once.  They were completely blissful all day long.  Here are some of my favorite photos from their blissful day:

I couldn’t get enough of Jennifer’s gorgeous bouquet!  I love when brides choose colorful flowers on their wedding day!

These cookies were Matt’s secret recipe and their guests went crazy over them!  I might have tried one or two myself….maybe :)

David & Krissy’s Wedding!

This wedding was a blast!  David and Krissy are such a cool couple and I loved every minute of their wedding!  I had so much fun capturing these images!  Thanks David and Krissy for choosing us to document your celebration and congrats to you both!

Fun fact: Krissy decided to wear her aunt’s wedding dress and veil on her wedding day!  Here’s a special moment between the two of them when Krissy’s aunt put on the necklace that she received from her fiance (now husband) on their wedding day!

Villa St. Clair is a gorgeous venue both inside and out.  I love the beautiful stained glass window that poured light onto the stage as David and Krissy said, “I do.”

Sean & Beccah’s Wedding!

I loved shooting Sean and Beccah’s intimate backyard wedding a few months ago.  These two are the sweetest couple and had such a great vision for their day.  The wedding and ceremony took place outside at Beccah’s dad’s house in Boerne, Texas and unfortunately, the weather that weekend took a turn for the worst.  They were married on the coldest, windiest day of the year thus far and when I say it was windy, I mean             w-i-n-d-y!!  Portable heaters had to be ordered at the last minute, table tops had to be tied down, and through it all, nothing seemed to matter but the two of them as soon as Beccah walked down the aisle.  Surrounded by friends and family, they couldn’t have had more support to start their journey together as husband and wife.  I know they will forever remember this day, as will I, and I couldn’t be more happy for them.  Sean and Beccah- I loved reliving your day and know there is nothing but great things in store for you two.  Enjoy!

Loved, loved, loved all of their reception decor!  So Martha Stewart! :)

Daniel and Lori are Engaged!

Daniel and Lori wanted to get some engagement pictures made, but they’re actually eloping to Hawaii for their wedding, so unfortunately, we won’t be joining them. :(  But guess what, folks….I ain’t too proud to beg…..

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE take me with you to Hawaii!!!!!  I promise I will take rockin’ pictures and I really can fit into your suitcase!!  I really wanna GOOOOO!!!

(hope that worked)

:)  Here are a few favorites from my evening with them.  The thing I love most about Daniel and Lori is their laughter.  You can tell that they have such a great time together both on and off camera, making my job way easy with their outgoing and fun personalities.  Enjoy!

Jason & Caroline are engaged!

Oh, how I just love this couple!  Jason and Caroline wanted to take their engagement pictures on the Kemah Boardwalk because this is where it all began!  Jason proposed to Caroline one unexpected evening right here on the Boardwalk.  We decided to do a little re-enacting of that magical moment and it was so cute because everyone that was walking by stopped and stared in awe over how adorable they are.  After spending just a couple of hours with them and seeing the chemistry they had on camera already makes me eager to shoot their wedding next year in Austin!

I love the seagull shadow on the image below!

Oh Caroline, stop being so fabulous!

Jason and Caroline had their first date at the Aquarium so we had to get a picture in front!

David & Jeanette’s Wedding

A couple of months ago I went to Houston to shoot David and Jeanette’s wedding at the beautiful Hotel ZaZa!  I’ve always wanted to shoot  a wedding there and I was certainly not disappointed.  Besides the beautiful location, the lovely bride and groom, and the awesome details, my most favorite part about this wedding had to be all the accents.  David is from England and so is his family, and Jeanette and her family are from Venezuela.  It was so much fun to hear them all talk!  I know, I’m a dork, but I have a thing for accents!  David and Jeanette- I hope you had a wonderful honeymoon!  Enjoy some of my favorites!

I loved Jeanette’s Jimmy Choo shoes!

I also wanted to share with you this AMAZING video from my good friends Ivan and Michele at Grasshopper Productions.  They are one of my favorite videographers and I highly recommend them to all my couples that are looking for one!  Take a look at their teaser from David and Jeanette’s day and watch carefully; you might see me make a cameo appearance once or twice! :)
